2024 Conference Co-Chairs

David Scott

David is a PhD Researcher at the University of Strathclyde exploring Followership Salience as a factor of Leadership in Organisations, and a Visiting Lecturer in Business at Leeds Trinity University.

He is a highly experienced Company Director and Charity Trustee with particular interest in effecting positive environmental and social change through people. A Followership practitioner since the early 1990s, David is delighted to be a Co-Chair of GFC 2024.

Dr. Wendy M. Edmonds

Dr. Wendy Edmonds is Interim Chair of the Management, Marketing, and Public Administration Department in the College of Business at Bowie State University, the oldest Historically Black College and University in Maryland.

She is an author and internationally recognized expert in toxic followership with a passion for positive change. Dr. Edmonds describes herself as a Workplace Toxicologist whose mission is to dismantle toxic followership and foster healthier, more productive environments.

Founded in 1948, the University of Strathclyde Business School is a pioneering internationally renowned academic organisation that shapes and develops the business minds of tomorrow.  

Strathclyde Business School is one of four faculties forming the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow and its subject departments and specialist units collaborate to provide a varied programme of specialist and cross-disciplinary courses.
